Quick and Creamy Guacamole

Traditionally, guacamole is made by mashing avocados, adding in some red onion, cilantro, and jalapeños, and calling it a (yummy!) day. I love that recipe, but I've also composed this one for when you need a quick dip or topping on the creamier side. It's a fast recipe and doesn't require too many ingredients, so that's a plus as well. Basically, it only requires mashing the avocado, adding in some minced garlic and spices, and finishing it up with a few tablespoons of sour cream. You can add in other ingredients if you like (spices, tomatoes, etc.). In fact, let me know if you do. I've been using this recipe for years, but I'm always up for some variations.
